What makes fingernails on a chalkboard so irrate?
Vanderbilt psychologist Randolph Blake won a prize recently for looking into why sound of fingernails on a chalkboard is so disturbing. In analyzing the sound he found similarities to primate distress calls. Why is this important? Click the link and read the article... :)
