Sony's Playstation 3 and Nintendo's Wii will be sold just before Thanksgiving. And, as usual, supplies will be limited. So Gamestop and EB Games will be taking preorders within the next week or two. But do you really need to get that new system that was rushed through manufacturing? Look at Xbox 360. People who were among the first to buy it are having problems with the units as well as getting it repair under warranty. Microsoft has only recently agreed to repair units bought before January 1st of this year.
You know, we don't always need to be the first to get version 1 of everything. Let the market settle, let the bugs get fixed and let the price drop to more reasonable levels. Being first isn't always better.
