Stamps that are just in time for Christmas
A few years ago a physicist, Kenneth Libbrecht, published high-resolution microscope images of snowflakes. The detail of each snowflake was amazing. I guess the U.S. Postal Service thought so as well. Last week they issued four new 39-cent commemorative postage stamps based on Libbrecht’s images.
