The South Gets Sophisticated
It used to be that a good ol' redneck would have a gun rack in his back window. Now a-days, we live in kinder, gentler times. With the influx of people from west coast to the south, you're more like to see a redneck with a wine racker in his back window. "Pass me that there Chardonnay, Missy! While y'ur at it, reach in my truck toolbox and pull out my Dale Earnhardt commemorative corkscrew!." ::: sigh ::: It doesn't get better than this, I'm afraid.

I think also the rest of the country is adapting redneck ways, so there is
some adaptation going on on both sides.
