The first of July marked a sad day in the computer world. This was the first day that the effective, technologically proven operating system of Windows XP became unavailable to the world of hard-working computer users. On this day, productivity across the globe dipped. The only ones not mourning are the makers of the bloated, memory hogging system known as Vista and the producers of the
ram (random access memory) modules. RIP XP ...

For a long time I look here in regular intervals by and read the interesting and well written contributions. Here I would like to thank you for it once and leave greetings from Bavaria!
Thank you, Matti, for visiting and for your great comments. You have made my day!
I think Microsoft will start improving Vista now that XP is gone.
I think Microsoft will keep XP alive until they come out with the successor to Vista. They know nobody will accept Vista on the scale that they did with XP.
I think Microsoft increase vista users.
Vista truly is a horrible operating system. Just as things start improving in XP, we now get "RIP" ... unreal.
Vista is sluggish and too bloated. *sigh*
When you guys finally move over to Vista, beware: Service Pack 1 crashed my HP laptop three times when I tried to install it and I had to use Norton Ghost to save the day! More importantly, when I looked on the net I certainly wasn't alone. Hopefully your version of Vista will have the updates installed when you buy it. It was a sad day indeed when we said goodbye to XP :(
