To float above life's adventures,
to be untouched by daily dramas,
to be unscathed by my worries,
to see the grander scheme.
To know that I die an achiever,
and my children full of pride,
my friends bettered for my living,
strangers' fortunes because I was.
How else can I justify my existence,
how else can anyone benefit from my breath,
how else can my life continue,
if not for a greater path?
