The heavy rains yesterday drove many a squiggling worms up from inside the earth to the soggy ground. This was followed by chirping and spring's anticipated winged creature: the mosquito.
I invite you to visit the heart of North Carolina ('cause the brains sure aren't here). A few days ago, it was a balmy 78 degrees. Today is a roasting ... 42? Well, there's no snow. Just cold rain. Perhaps next week?
