How I know Spring Is Here
The heavy rains yesterday drove many a squiggling worms up from inside the earth to the soggy ground. This was followed by chirping and spring's anticipated winged creature: the mosquito.
I invite you to visit the heart of North Carolina ('cause the brains sure aren't here). A few days ago, it was a balmy 78 degrees. Today is a roasting ... 42? Well, there's no snow. Just cold rain. Perhaps next week?
Mosquitoes are starting all ready where you are?? You must not be in Kansas. It's snowing here...again...still...save me...please.
