Internet search engine by faces
Near the end of September, I read about a Swedish researcher, Jan Erik Solem, who plans to launch unique search engine based on people's faces. He has developed patented methods that create 3-D models from 2-D pictures. So theoretically, instead of searching on text, you can search by pictures. While I have found the site itself at PolarRose.com, it is still under development. The idea sounds great so I'll be checking back. Hopefully it will be online soon.
